Madden NFL 16 video includes Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse & Colin Kaepernick as Al Pacino

Think last year's video leading up to Madden NFL 15 was crazy? This year's video laughs in its face.

At this point, fans of Madden NFL 16 know what they're getting. Even with EA Sports touting many of the differences set to come in the latest edition of the game, Madden is what it is, so really, do they need a detailed launch trailer? Evidently, the answer is "no."

Instead, EA followed up last year's insanity-filled trailer with an even more bombastic, over-the-top presentation. The trailer is even titled "Madden: The Movie."

There's almost little in the way of gameplay and yet, it's a sublime exercise in wackiness that already has internet circles (including our own) talking. When San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick doing an impression of Al Pacino and munching on a sheet of paper is the least crazy thing in these five minutes, it's definitely something memorable. No more spoilers. Just watch this video with Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Rob Gronkowski, Rex Ryan, and many more below.

Madden NFL 16 arrives next week on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
