Splatoon chooses sides in Transformers-themed Splatfest on August 29

Take up arms for either the Autobots or the Decepticons in a special Splatoon Splatfest set to take place later this month.

One shall stand and one shall be covered in ink. Alright, that's not exactly how the old phrase goes, but the Transformers never expected to see their conflict extend to the Splatoon battlefield before. That will be the case, though, when Splatoon gets a very special 24-hour Splatfest later this month.

From 9PM PT on Friday, August 28 through 9PM PT the next day, Splatoon will allow players to pledge their allegiance to one of the two perpetually warring factions of Transformers. Those players will then don the respective shirts for either the Autobots or Decepticons and head into Turf War to try and claim victory for their side. The winning side will receive the lion's share of Super Sea Snails, which will allow those players to upgrade their gear.
