Weekend PC download deals: Civilization Beyond Earth free weekend and more

As summer winds down, it's time to catch up on a number of PC games. That includes Civilization: Beyond Earth, which is getting a free Steam weekend. Meanwhile, Bundle Stars is offering up some big time two-packs, GamersGate is offering the Deep Silver catalog, and there's a lot more from other retailers, as well.


As summer continues to wind down, the number of big-time deals is starting to jump again. Steam leads the way with a free weekend for Civilization: Beyond Earth, while also offering the Devolver Digital and Kalypso catalogs for major discounts.
