The struggle for survival in a dinosaur-filled world is getting a little bit tougher in ARK: Survival Evolved. Studio Wildcard brought the game to Gamescom 2015 and announced its plans for the Xbox Preview Program, while also unveiling a new trailer.

The new trailer shows off a snow biome, showing off new frozen terrain. Of course, dinosaurs will still inhabit this area and can act as either friend of foe, depending on whatever moves you make. The trailer ends with an all-new boss-type monster: a gigantic spider creature.

ARK: Survival Evolved continues to shoot for a June 2016 release on PC and PlayStation 4, both of which will include virtual reality support. However, it will also be a part of the Xbox Preview Program, so those users will be able to jump in before the end of 2015. Those that simply cannot wait can grab the game from Steam Early Access right now.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
