Atlus has announced Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, the remake of the 2007 action RPG Odin Sphere, will be heading to the US in 2016.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, which was announced as Odin Sphere: Leidfrasir in Japan earlier this week, will be released both digitally and physically on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. The game will feature HD graphics, expanded worlds with new monsters, story scenes that are fully voiced, and a fine-tuned combat and RPG system.

The title is also supposed to include a classic mode that will offer the original PlayStation 2’s gameplay, although there was no mention of that in today’s press release from Atlus. The publisher says more details on Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will be available at a later date, so we’ll see if the mode makes its way over to the US version of the game.
