Blizzard has released Hearthstone’s latest game mode, Tavern Brawl, and the Tavern will continue to remain open until Monday at 3am PDT. At that time, Blizzard will close it up to assumably repair it from all of the brawling that went on for the past couple of days. You can’t expect them to keep such an establishment open that welcomes anyone and everyone to duke it out, CCG style, can you?

Tavern Brawl will host a number of modes run under different rules, with new rules expected to be obeyed each week. The first Tavern Brawl has players duking it out with pre-built decks themed around Ragnaros vs. Nefarian, which just so happen to be hiding a few rare cards within them. The deck you play is decided at random which keeps things nice and even considering some may think Nefarian’s desk is stronger than Ragnaros’.

“One week might feature preset decks, while another week could have you crafting a brand new Tavern Brawl deck following specific guidelines, while others might offer buffs to specific minion types,” Blizzard says.

In the first few weeks Tavern Brawl is available, Blizzard will reward players with a free card pack for their first win.
