Yesterday, Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog confirmed that Lo Wang would return for some more Shadow Warrior action, but they didn't touch on all of the good stuff that's coming. That announcement was saved for the trailer, which confirmed that Wang would not be coming alone.

The Shadow Warrior 2 trailer shows that Lo Wang is somewhat down on his luck, following his actions from the first game. He's still fighting demons that are out to kill him. So Wang has recruited some friends. Yes, Shadow Warrior 2 will feature four-player co-op for the first time in series history. This will come in addition to a variety of new weaponry that Wang will have at his disposal.

Check out the full trailer below. Look for more information on Shadow Warrior 2 soon. In the meantime, you can check out some gameplay later today on Twitch when Shadow Warrior 2 takes the air at 12:30PM PT/3:30 PM ET.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
