With so many announcements coming fast and furious this week, Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell wants to make his voice heard. The procedurally-generated stealth game Volume now has a release date. It's set to launch on both PC and PlayStation 4 on August 18.

Volume follows a heroic thief named Rob Locksley, as he seeks to steal from the giant Gisborne corporation. The game's stealth will be based largely on sound, using visual cues to indicate noise levels. Locksley must use sound to aid him across each level by using it to distract foes and set them up for a takedown. The game will also feature Andy Serkis in a starring role, as the game's main villain.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
