It would be nice in these comparison videos if they would try to match the contrast values. Other than one or the other seeming dim or bright they have the same level of detail and effects.

eh I don't like doing that, it then dresses up the footage. These are almost lossless captures with no post to illustrate the differences. The XB1 version has a little less contrast/gamma out of the box. We even left the gamma slider from the into of the game at default.

the monitor I'm watching this on is crap but the two sides look pretty comparable to me aside from some contrast difference maybe. I couldn't really say one was better looking than the other from this. Assuming that they both maintain a similar, and steady, frame rate I wouldn't declare a winner from just this.

The light on the wood just suddenly disappears on the ps4. Does this happen on the xbox version too?

I would really like to see a frame rate counter on each screen. I know the XBone isn't frame locked and the PS4 is frame locked to 30fps, but I would like to see which one dips below.

Well I'll tell you this. I bought this for xbone and kicking myself, I should be got it for my pc. Just figured it'd be nice on console, and it is, but man they watered down the graphics. The up close cut scenes are very nice but open world looks like I'm playin oblivion on low settings on pc.

I thought this was next gen, I mean I know my pc is better but still, at least for this game these consoles are already showing their age.

        Phenomenal game tho Btw.

I like how the game interface on PC changes to match my XB1 controller for the prompts and HUD.
