Those that own the konsole version of Mortal Kombat X are set to receive that game's latest patch. (Hopefully, with less kinks than the recent PC patch.) In addition to receiving a number of balance changes and gameplay fixes, players are also getting a new klassic skin for no extra charge.

Reptile players will now be able to use the Klassic Reptile skin, which will make the scaly fighter look more like his old-school ninja appearance. The original Reptile look dates all the way back to the original Mortal Kombat, when he was an unlockable boss fight. For a history lesson, we've embedded the original Reptile battle below.

Specific fixes address issues with frame data, online matchmaking, crashes, and stats, among others. Character-specific issues offer tweaks for a vast array of characters, including the recently-release Jason, who has had the delay off moves from his Unstoppable variation removed.

The full list of patch notes can be found here. The patch is hitting PlayStation 4 today with Xbox One getting it shortly.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
