Those that have played Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire may have noticed a certain trend as they hit the end of the game. More and more legendary Pokemon would emerge from strange rings suspended in the sky. They're about to see even more rings and they're attached to a whole new Pokemon. Yesterday, The Pokemon Company unveiled the legendary Hoopa. Today, it is showing off its alternate form, the powerful Hoopa Unbound.

Hoopa will be the central focus of the next Pokemon movie, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. The Psychic/Dark-type will be able to summon Pokemon by controlling the mysterious rings of the sky. A glimpse at the upcoming Pokemon movie can be seen below.

That paves the way for today's reveal that Hoopa will have a massive alternate form. Hoopa Unbound will grow to massive proportions and grow six arms, as well as display a greater control of its rings. The combination Psychic/Dark-type attributes make it a beast to contend with in battle, as demonstrated in the video below.

The Pokemon Company has not offered details on how to encounter Hoopa or how to add the 720th Pokemon to your Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire roster, as of yet. Look for more information to hit soon.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
