Diablo 3 gets new Treasure Goblins, Wardrobes, and more in 2.2.0 patch

Blizzard has announced the rollout of patch 2.2.0 for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls that introduces some new features in addition to fixing some other things.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls 2.2.0 patch has officially been released on both PC and consoles.

Patch 2.2.0 features a number of features, including three new Treasure Goblins, new Seasonal rewards, and Wardrobes. Accessing the Wardrobe will allow players to manage any wings, pets, pennants, and portrait frames unlocked on their account. Each class also has received some kind of improvement, such as the Barbarian’s Rolling Thunder Skill Rune hitting enemies in front of them more reliably and the Witch Doctor’s Hex turning all enemies within a 12-yard radius into chickens, instead of just one enemy.

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls’ Adventure Mode also received quite a bit of love in today’s patch that includes increasing your blood shard cap by achieving a personal best in Solo Greater Rifts, improvements to Nephalem Rifts, crafting, and monsters.

This really is a rather large patch for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, so if you’d like to know what exactly was improved, head on over to Blizzard’s blog post highlighting patch 2.2.0’s changes.

Meh, seasons are boring. We get the items and can make new characters if you actually *want* to, but you don't have to to get the new stuff. Best of both worlds, IMO.

I thought we didn't get the items?

We didn't get them when season one started because the patch came later, IIRC. We got the season 1/2 items at the same time with the last patch, so I'm fairly certain the 2.2 patch we just got has the season 3 stuff.

Barb and Wizard potentially for all the new toys those two classes got in this patch. Although high GRift runners will probably still keep a mix of 2 Demon Hunters, zDPS support class, and Monk? I dunno, I don't really play that way. I'm sure Infobiter would have more insight.

Just recently started playing the rifts and in 1 week I've encountered both a treasure goblin rift with about 20 treasure or gem goblins dumping loot EVERYWHERE and also a teddy bear rift with swarms of floppy teddy bears that killed me

New wizard Tal Rasha bonus... Seems insanely good. People don't like the Wizard changes???

"Attacks increase your damage by 150% for 6 seconds. Arcane, Cold, Fire, and Lightning attacks each add one stack (maximum of 4). Adding a stack refreshes the duration."

I've found on more than one occasion a rift that has like 50 goblins all in one corner of the map. If you're quick, there's always a Conduit spire nearby you can hit, and one shot all of the goblins for just incredible amounts of stuff. I try to let the gem and bloodshard goblins run a bit so I get more stuff from them

No, because the game can be played offline on consoles. PC is always online
