Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have yet another Mortal Kombat X trailer for us to gawk at today, this time, focusing on the Briggs family.
In the Briggs Family Trailer, we get a closer look at both Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs and his daughter Jacqueline “Jacqui” Briggs, who followed in her father’s footsteps to become a member of the OutWorld Investigation Agency Special Forces, or the OIASF. OK, that’s a terrible acronym that I’ll never use again.
As a member of the OIASF, Jacqui also follows her father’s example by having cybernetic enhancements on her arms. The trailer shows off some of her moves, but Jax definitely shows her how it’s done.
Mortal Kombat X will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 14. The game will have quite the impressive roster as we know Erron Black, Liu Kang, Kung-Lao, Johnny Cage, Kensi, Reptile. Kitana, Quan Chi, Kano, Raiden, and, of course, Sub-Zero and Scorpion will be included with special guests Jason Vorhees and Predator. We’re sure even more characters will be added, although we’ll just have to wait until they’re either revealed or the game is finally released in a few weeks.
