It's been a few weeks since Blizzard revealed Sylvanas Windrunner as the latest combatant to join the growing Heroes of the Storm roster. Today's update officially adds her to the beta, along with a few other changes.

The Tomb of the Spider Queen Battleground will debut a three-lane map that sees teams collecting gems and turning them over to the Spider Queen. The team that gives her enough gems will gain her webweavers as allies against the opposition. Team Leagues are also debuting with today's update. Players can create named teams with dedicated rosters to take into ranked matches. These leagues are open to players that have reached Level 40 and own 10 or more Heroes.

Other changes include an increase in the maximum Hero Level, new rewards, and new skins and mounts. The full list of changes are available in the latest round of patch notes. The new Heroes of the Storm update is set to go live today, with a bonus XP week set to run through March 29.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
