Bloodborne may be headed to PC

According to an Amazon France listing, From Software's latest action RPG may be heading to the PC.

Bloodborne has officially been released today, leaving many fans of the PC version the Dark Souls series drooling uncontrollably at the chance to get their hands on the game. Unfortunately, Bloodborne is a PlayStation 4 exclusive… or is it?

According to a listing at Amazon France, it appears Bloodborne may be headed to the PC after all. From Software’s latest action RPG is being listed as a “Windows 7/8" game, although the listing also shows the game is currently unavailable.

Amazon France has had a pretty good track record of leaking products prior to their planned announcements as we’ve seen it leak Call of Duty: Black Ops II, The Last of Us PlayStation 4 bundle, Ratchet & Clank HD Collection and many others.

Bloodborne also wouldn’t be the first game to be available on just the PlayStation 4 and PC as Capcom announced Street Fighter 5 will only be available on those two platforms.

We’ve been having a great time playing Bloodborne so far, which you can read for yourself in our impressions piece published last night. Opening up Bloodborne to more players will certainly be a very good thing for From Software as it appears to be quite experience thus far.

Agreed, I'd definitely welcome it since I don't have a PS4, but I really don't see it happening.

i'm trying to rationalized it as a from software title with timed exclusivity and sony acting as publisher.
maybe the pc is truly neutral territory now. never going to happen.

Pc games that were "mislisted" on Amazon (always the Euro sites) have always been released on pc.

      WHAT.

I figured since it was a Sony exclusive it would share the same fate as Demon's Souls, forever bound to Sony consoles.

man i hated that on the ps3, after playing dark souls on pc at 60fps playing demons on ps3 at sub 30fps annoyed the living shit out of me. i just couldnt do it, it took some huge effort to go back multiple times.

SOE made me want to believe something like this was possible, but I can't imagine it actually happening. If they did want to do a first party PC port this is one of the best candidates for sure, given the following Dark Souls had on PC.

        Still not gonna happen!

why do people always fall for this. the random listings hardly ever work out to be true. it's a 1 in 20 chance.

if it was a 3rd party publisher maybe, but sony isn't going to offload their exclusive onto another platform.

I'm hoping FROM retained the rights to distribute on PC after a timed exclusivity or something. That’s all I have to hope for really.

I think it would be clickbait if they didn't include the "may be" part in the title.

Your definition of "clickbait" is pretty broad.

It's a nerds dream to have it come to PC, but the likelihood is far less than"may" based on the source. So it's likely to generate a click based on the salivating prospect, but the prospect is virtually nil. Maybe I'm being harsh.

"make no mistake: Bloodborne is as difficult and as rewarding an experience as their previous games were."

Wow, I'm so excited about smashing my fist on the table, cussing loudly,
becoming frustrated each time I die!!

Please, keep these high difficulty level games coming, because I like to fool myself into thinking
'oh this game will be so much fun'! But in reality, this game will actually bring my so much bitterness!
I love having a bitter heart!

      Keep em coming guys!
