Guild Wars 2 designers discuss the changes coming to Heart of Thorns

PAX East represented the first opportunity for the general public to try out Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. For Shacknews, it represented an opportunity for Andrew Zucosky to speak with lead content designer Matt Wuerffel and system designer Jon Peters.

Shacknews previously went hands-on with Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns last week, getting a look at the very heart of the Maguuma jungle. PAX East was ArenaNet's first opportunity to bring the expansion before a captive audience of players. But while convention-goers got their hands on Heart of Thorns for the first time, Andrew Zucosky took a moment to speak to lead content designer Matt Wuerffel and system designer Jon Peters.

Wuerffel and Peters discuss what's new in the Guild Wars 2 expansion, the changes that will be made in lieu of raising the level cap, and where the Living World story is at this point. That means there's a minor spoiler warning for anyone that still plans to play through Season 2 of The Living World before Heart of Thorns releases.
