Weekly Game Release Highlights, February 16-22

This is the week to explore history, whether it's an alternate take like in The Order: 1886 or something slightly more accurate, as in Total War: Attila.

This is the week that order gets restored in the alternate steampunk world of the 19th century. The long-awaited cinematic shooter The Order: 1886 arrives on PlayStation 4 this week. For those looking to go a little further back in time, there’s also Total War: Attila hitting this week. And everybody’s favorite pink puffball returns in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I'm expecting a hot 5 out of 10. Give us a little teaser, are you enjoying it so far?

I wish I could, but Sony's NDA is pretty tight. I can't even share an in-game screenshot until the embargo lifts! :(

Embargos are stupid. But so are preorders so it balances out.

Wait, is that already coming out? The previews were totally reaming it.

Avoiding the Qbert, unless Shack decides to give it a review this time around. PC version had too many glitches.

Kirby pre-ordered. Although I'm worried about the framerate.
