Weekend PC download deals: Love and basketball

It's Valentine's Day weekend, but few retailers outside of Green Man Gaming are offering up any incentives for couples to spend the weekend together. Steam, on the other hand, would prefer to celebrate something different: the NBA All-Star Weekend!

It's Valentine's Day weekend and many PC retailers are doing their best to make sure that you stay locked in your room alone with your PC by offering some truly amazing PC game sales. Of course, Green Man Gaming is at least trying to spread the spirit of love by offering multi-packs of several games, so at least somebody remembers what this wonderful Hallmark holiday is for.

Although it should be noted that Steam remembers that this weekend is big for another reason: It's the NBA All-Star Weekend! That's why they're offering up NBA 2K15 for a free weekend, on top of their Far Cry 4, Company of Heroes, and Total War deals.

Here's our selection of this weekend's PC deals:

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
