#IDARB was announced to be headed to the Xbox One starting in February and would even be made available for free as a part of the consoles’ Games with Gold promotion. It appears Microsoft pulled the switch a bit early as #IDARB is now available for any and all comers to download.

“Happy #IDARB day!,” shared the official Twitter page of the game announcing its official launch late last night. The message was followed by a recommendation to new players to “check out the FAQ.”

If you’re unfamiliar with #IDARB, its official website describes it as “a chaotic 8-player eSport jumping jetpack future arena ball game that is as inspired by Bomberman and Smash Bros. as it is by cans of soda, paint-by-number books, and driving five miles faster than the speed limit.” I’m not exactly sure what that complete sentence means, but you can consider me there when I get some time to play later on this evening.
