Fable Legends Coming to Windows 10

Microsoft announced today, during the Windows 10 briefing, that Fable Legends will release for the PC as a Win10 exclusive.

In a semi-unexpected announcement, it was revealed during the Windows 10 press demonstration that Fable Legends will be coming to the PC as a Windows 10 exclusive. The game will feature DirectX 12 for high end graphics, but the real surprise is in how it will feature cross-platform play with the Xbox One. So, players on either the PC or Xbox One can join each others' games and get the adventure going. Although there is no release date for Windows 10, Fables Legends is expected to come out for Xbox One later this year.

As an unintentional reveal, the presenter was using a wireless Xbox One controller to demonstrate Fable Legends. So, a wireless receiver for the gamepad may not be far off.

Hah, I bet next they will say that Quantum Break comes to PC as Windows 10 exclusive.

Microsoft and Remedy did the same shite with Alan Wake so would not surprise me.
