Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC delayed to March 24

Sorry, Rockstar fans. You're going to need to wait a few more months for the PC version to finally become avaialble.

PC players who have been looking forward to the January 27th release of Grand Theft Auto 5 will be extremely disappointed to hear Rockstar has delayed the upcoming PC version to March 24.

"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be," Rockstar writes on its Rockstar Newswire. "Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."

Well, that's extremely disappointing. But at least Rockstar also finally released what kind of specs your PC will need in order to run GTA 5. Now that the game has been delayed to March, I guess you've got some extra time on your hands to make sure your rig is up to speed.

Glad they are taking the time to polish everything. The requirements don't look all that high, especially compared to The Witcher 3, so looks good in terms of scalability. No one will remember a delay, but they will remember a botched launch.

Disappointing, but I'd rather have a late, working game than an on-time Ubi'd game.

They could still release a buggy game late.

They could, but the chances diminish when they push back release for more QA.

Did gta 4's online mode on pc live behind rockstar social club as well?

Online has been so inconsistent with 5, hopefully it doesn't hamper the pc release.

At least the pc requirements aside from storage are pretty reasonable. I'd rather wait and get a finished product

I like how two whole months = "a few extra weeks" to them.

:( all well, as much as this sucks I am super happy they are supporting triple screen setups(freaking awesome btw) and the extra stuff so I am cool with it.

We waited this long so a few more months is not going to kill us I guess.

Maybe Titan 2s will be out by then.

March? Fuck that. It should have been released along side the One and PS4 versions.

I know it's probably for the best, but still, fuck that. I'm tired of waiting.
