If there’s one thing the PC Master Race is well aware of, it’s that when CD Projekt releases a new Witcher game, you better believe it’s going to push every bit of your system the hardest it’s ever been pushed before. With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt delayed to May 19, CD Projekt knows PC gamers will need some time to upgrade their rigs to prepare for the game. That’s why the developer released The WItcher 3’s PC system requirements.

Here’s what CD Projekt says you’ll need to at least be able to run The Witcher 3 and what they recommend PC gamers have running under the hood:

Minimum System Requirements

  • Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz
  • AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940
  • Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660

here's hoping my poor 2500k can do it justice. (does the game utilize hyperthreading or something?)

When I built my rig last year everyone told me to get the i5-4670 instead of the i7. Now I'm sad.

I doubt it will really matter that much.
