With 2015 coming to a close, Sony has offered a look at January's PlayStation Plus lineup. Teased by the PlayStation Blog in Europe yesterday, the lineup was confirmed today for North America.

The list of freebies, as indicated by PlayStation.Blog, includes the standalone expansion Infamous: First Light. This is Fetch's tale that leads to her role in Infamous: Second Son, allowing players to master a whole new round of powers.

Those that own either PS4, PS3, or Vita can pick up the indie platformer, The Swapper. This is the claymation-driven game that requires players to create clones to move forward along a sci-fi world. Meanwhile, PS3 owners can grab Prototype 2, DuckTales Remastered, and Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition (also on Vita). Finally, Vita owners can grab Woah Dave!, the retro-styled arcade game from Choice Provisions (a.k.a. the former Gaijin Games, makers of the BIT.TRIP series).

All of these games become available to PlayStation Plus users on January 6. For the full recap, check out the video below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
