PSA: Hearthstone 'Goblins vs. Gnomes' cards now available in Arena

Can't wait for Monday's Hearthstone expansion. You can now get Goblins vs. Gnomes cards right now in Arena mode and Blizzard will even spot you your first Arena run for no charge.

Blizzard previously announced that Hearthstone's Goblins vs. Gnomes expansion would be available on December 8. And while that's still the case, the excitement for new cards was just too much to bear, so the expansion cards have already made their way to the game's Arena mode.

Arena mode runs normally cost 150 gold or $1.99, but anyone that logs into Hearthstone from now until December 8 will get their next Arena run for free. The expansion will kick off in earnest on Monday, allowing players to purchase packs or craft them out of dust.

In addition to this announcement, Hearthstone has opened up its Spectator Mode, for anyone that wants to see more seasoned veterans in action.

Coincidentally, this comes moments after Steve's feature on the best, worst, and strangest Goblins vs. Gnomes cards was posted. So why not give that a look here?

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
