Capcom has announced when Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will finally be released as well as releasing a brand-new trailer which highlights the return of classic S.T.A.R.S. member, Barry Burton.

The first episode of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be released digitally on February 17 on PlayStation Network, while Xbox Live and Steam will be receiving their version on February 18. A total of four episodes will make up the whole of Revelations 2, each of which will be released on a weekly basis until the final episode is released on March 10.

Each episode will retail for $5.99 each, although Capcom is making a Complete Season pass available for $24.99, which will include all four episodes as well as two bonus spin-off episodes that follow two new characters, Moria Burton and Natalia Korda, as well as an additional Raid mode character, Hunk.

Those who prefer to have a physical version of Revelations 2 may be out of luck for the time being as Capcom only has plans to make a full retail box set available in Europe on March 13. The box set will include everything the Complete Season version of the game has, but it will also include Albert Wesker as an additional Raid mode character, one alternate costume for each of the main characters, and four additional Raid stages based on recent Resident Evil titles.

Capcom also released a new trailer that shows Barry Burton returning to Resident Evil: Revelations 2. Barry is searching for his missing daughter, Moira Burton, when he meets a little girl named Natalia Korda, who has an unknown power that allows her to sense enemies, as well as hidden items. Players will need to use both Barry and Natalia in order to survive the mysterious island they find themselves on and find Moira.
