The Witcher Adventure Game begins its quest on PC and mobile today

In case you need to duck under the table and play something on your phone...

Just because it's Thanksgiving in the United States doesn't mean the rest of the world stops turning. In fact, the fine folks at CD Projekt Red are offering a handy way to ignore your family while they argue politics at the dinner table. Simply take out your mobile device, because The Witcher Adventure Game is out today.

The Witcher Adventure Game is the board game adaptation of the beloved franchise. Four of the Witcher characters will be available to select, as they run through the world exploring, questing, using diplomacy, and fighting monsters. Players can opt to team up with friends or simply stab them in the back.

The Witcher Adventure Game is available now on the App Store and Google Play store for $5.99. If you'd rather play it on a bigger screen, it's also out today on Steam and for a few more bucks.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

It's up to the dev to flag your device as compatible. They probably just haven't done a test yet.

Anybody down for a game just give me a shout sometime.

It's fun, strategic, with randomness to keep you on your toes. I have it on Steam so it uses my Steam name, but not sure how it works if you buy from gog.
