PSA: Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire 'Shiny Beldum' now available

Those looking to add a fresh shiny to their Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire collection can do so right now.

Pokemon fans, remember that Shiny Beldum that was mentioned months before last week's Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release? Well, the special Pokemon is officially available, starting today. And it's bringing along with it the Metagrossite item that will evolve your Metagross into Mega Metagross.

The Pokemon Company previously teased the giveaway during the game's launch, but have confirmed that they have started giving the rare Pokemon away. Those looking to add a Shiny Beldum to their collection can get it through an in-game internet distribution that leaves the Pokemon in your Mystery GIft slot. Of course, you'll need a copy of either Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire to pick it up, so the giveaway will be active until January 14 to offer holiday flexibility.
