NHL Legends join NHL 15 Hockey Ultimate Team

Some of the best legends to don a pair of skates are hitting NHL 15 today.

Those looking to take the ice with some of the greatest legends ever to grace a pair of hockey skates will now be able to do so. A new update for NHL 15 will allow players to use NHL Legends in the Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) mode on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The list of legends includes:

• Wayne Gretzky
• Mario Lemieux
• Patrick Roy
• Ray Bourque
• Joe Sakic
• Nicklas Lidstrom
• Pavel Bure
• Eric Lindros
• Mike Bossy
• Luc Robitaiile
• Mike Modano
• Jari Kurri
• Doug Gilmour

To take advantage of this new Legends roster, NHL 15 will see special edition teams added over the coming months. Players will take to the ice with these teams to re-live some of these players' greatest moments.

NHL 15 owners can start using these Legends right now on PS4 and Xbox One, but Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players will have to wait just a little longer. For a look at how the Legends play, check out the video below.
