A new leak of Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer has forced 343 Industries to confirm a number of improvements to the series.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is less than 24 hours from its release on the Xbox One, but we’re already hearing more details regarding the next chapter in the Halo franchise, Halo 5: Guardians.

Over the weekend, some footage that is believed to be taken from Halo 5: Guardians’ multiplayer that shows off some new abilities, such as the ability to sprint, leaked online. Josh Holmes, head of Halo 5: Guardians, then confirmed the leaked footage, and instead of condemning whoever leaked the footage, decided to take to his Twitter profile to address it while sharing some new info regarding the game.

Holmes confirmed descope will be back in Halo 5 and there will be no penalty for hip firing, no movement penalties when scoping or zooming, and no flinching.

With less than 24 hours until The Master Chief Collection releases, I'm curious if its launch will allow Holmes or MIcrosoft to make any announcements regarding Halo 5: Guardians.
