Halo 5: Guardians leaked cutscene features Locke and Covenant
A recently leaked Halo 5: Guardians cutscene may have just let the cat out of the bag as to what will be going on in the game, or at least possibly a set of missions.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to release next week, but a recently leaked cutscene from the game may have given away the story behind Halo 5: Guardians.
The scene was leaked during a Twitch user’s broadcast recently when the player selected “The Heretic” campaign within Halo 2 Anniversary. It appears this particular cutscene is part of a Halo 5 preview that is included in The Master Chief Collection that features Locke conversing with the Covenant over the location of Master Chief.
Whether or not this is the main focus of Halo 5: Guardians or if it’s just the setup for a series of missions is unclear at this point. Either way, you should prepare to do a bit of searching in the game when it releases in 2015.
