We caught wind of a documentary crew who were working on excavating the legendary Atari graveyard, which we later learned the rumors were right all along as they found a pile of E.T. cartridges in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The documentary, titled Atari: Game Over, will premier across Xbox platforms on November 20th, Microsoft announced today.

Atari: Game Over will be for free exclusively on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Xboxvideo.com and will be available to view regardless if you’re an Xbox Live Gold or Silver member. The documentary will use a number of interactive features on the Xbox platform, one of which is the ability to leave comments on the film that will pop up during its timeline. These comments can then be viewed by your friends when they view the film. The film will also include a number of outtakes and behind-the-scenes clips.
