Razer is announcing its Leviathan Sound Bar today that is said to provide “premium quality audio” across several entertainment applications that include desktop and home theater use.

The Razer Leviathan features a 5.1 surround sound mode that is geared towards gaming and movie use, and allows for wireless music streaming through Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX technology of up to 10 meters, and it’s able to remember recently paired devices and comes with NFC support. The sound bar has two 2.5-in full-range drivers and two 0.74-in tweeters that have been optimized for surround sound gaming. Regardless of its source type, the sound bar will convert it through Dolby Digital to create a virtual sound stage.

Versatility is also a key feature for the Razer Leviathan as it can be repositioned easily to be used in a number of ways, which includes sitting under a desk monitor or within a living room console setup. As you can see from the images, the sound bar doesn't look to be that large, so moving it around shouldn't be that big of an issue.

The Razer Leviathan is now available for pre-order at on Razer’s website for $199 and is expected to be released in November 2014 worldwide.
