Killing Floor 'Halloween Horror Double Feature' grinds houses today

Halloween is almost here and that means Killing Floor is out to play with the new Halloween Horror Double Feature update.

Tripwire Interactive may be looking to spread its unique brand of horror through Paris in Killing Floor 2, but the studio hasn't forgotten its first horror outing. In fact, this is the very time of year that Killing Floor is here to celebrate. So get ready to get in the holiday spirit with Kililng Floor's new Halloween Horror Double Feature update.

The Killing Floor Halloween Horror Double Feature update brings back the Halloween Zeds, returning with a frightening vengeance. The Halloween Zeds can be targeted in the new Club Clandestine map, an undergrond nightclub filled with torture devices.

Those looking to play with some new toys can check out the Toy Master Mod, which Tripwire has officially christened as an official mod. This mod features the Toy Master Game Mode along the Devil's Dollhouse map. Rather than killing Zeds, players will now be hunting down evil toys designed by Tripwire art director David Hensley.

The Killing Floor Halloween Horror Double Feature update is live now and you can check out the grindhosue-inspired trailer below. Those looking to try out Kililng Floor have the chance to do so this weekend. It's free on Steam until Sunday!

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
