Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I've always been a sub zero fan. I usually play ryu/ken in SF, and I think the fighting style is similar enough that it just felt natural.

Raiden is the mostest. A good Raiden vs. Raiden match with accomplished players is like nothing else, the teleport action makes for some truly insane, stylish combos.

Reptile. That slow ball, fast ball, uppercut combo is killer and so difficult to avoid.

Raiden owns. The superman move is my favorite. It's so goofy but so awesome.

I kinda gravitated to Raiden eventually for his character. That whole tie-in-ish thing with Big Trouble In Little China thing. :)

Mileena - I've always liked her ball and little teleport kick, as well as the dichotomy of her horror movie face and porn star body.

      Johnny Cage.
      Found his groin punch funny.
His fatalities were also quite funny.

Liu Kang, WIN! Few things made me happier than interrupting someone with a Thousand Foot Kick and dropping them in the corner.
I did like teleporting out of the ground behind someone and hitting them with a razor edged hat.

Baraka. I love the entire creation line of the tarkatans (see also: Mileena). Baraka, however was always my favorite for having the wolverine-esque blades with the special attack of the scissor slicer. When you corner your enemy, that attack is hard to defend against. His fatality in which he impales the victim with his forearm blades, lifts them up, and stares into their eyes as they slowly slide closer to him is my also my favorite fatality of all the characters.

Raiden Torpedo and teleport were easy moves to pull off and remember at the arcade.
