Destiny 'loot cave' is no more

RIP Destiny's "loot cave." We had some good times.

It looks like the dream of an endless flow of loot is now over as Bungie has just nixed the legendary “loot cave” that has taken Destiny by storm ever since it was discovered some time last week.

Bungie has released a hot fix today for Destiny to address a number of small issues that weren’t tweaked in the game’s recent patch. One such fix, unfortunately, has put a stop to the loot cave.

Here’s the exact note regarding the fix from Bungie itself:

“The Hive of the holy “Treasure Cave” have realized the futility of their endless assault on Skywatch and have retired to lick their wounds and plan their next attack.”

Additional patch notes for the hot fix show respawn timers for monster caves have been changed across a number of missions as well as tweaks the the Queen's Wrath event, but we all know the real story here is the death of the loot cave.

RIP, Destiny's loot cave.

how about the man with the briefcase changes his name to "the man with the twink"

now.... i'm just saying. There's gotta be a shacker here that looks like a twink.

              Consider it chatty mystery.

Is this the equivalent to that room in Ocarina of Time where you can smash pots for lots of rupees over and over?
