This week's Nintendo eShop update just went live, and Wii U owners have a couple of platformers to choose from, while the 3DS eShop has some interesting titles as well.

Over on the Wii U, Rain Games' innovative Teslagrad has finally arrive, with a young boy using magnets and earning new abilities to get through a strange, mysterious new world. The game sells for $14.99, and looks to be one of the Wii U's most original titles to date.

This Tuesday, KickBeat: Special Edition will debut on the Wii U for $9.99, bringing all the music/rhythm and bad guy beating action you've come to expect from the PS3 and PS Vita.

Meanwhile, if you're up for an NES classic, Adventure Island is available on the service, as you guide Master Higgins through a perilous world, in the hopes of making it through in one piece. It's only $4.99.

Over on the 3DS, you can pick up the ambitious first-person dungeon-crawling adventure The Keep for $12.99; the hidden object game Hideaways: Foggy Valley for $4.99; and, if you're crazy enough, Top Model 3D for $19.99, in case you're feeling super Diva-y.
