Fatal Frame Wii U footage makes us yearn for a U.S. release

Nearly five minutes of the forthcoming horror game have been unveiled, and, yes, we're spooked.

Sometimes Japanese gamers get some cool releases that never really see the light of day in the U.S. Case in point, the new Fatal Frame, The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden, which will arrive on the system on September 27th.

In an effort to promote the forthcoming release, a new video featuring five minutes of gameplay has been unveiled. It's looking quite spooky, with plenty of scares in its own right. But watch it for yourself. (Maybe hit the lights to heighten the effect…?)

Fatal Frame doesn't have any sort of release lined up outside of Japan, but considering Nintendo is trying to get back on the good side of gamers, it wouldn't hurt to set this up for some kind of 2015 release, would it?

LOL, can I take a guess and say you've never played any Fatal Frame games before?

Just seeing some of those locations from the first game in this trailer sent chills down my spine.

Amazing boob physics at the 1:00 Mark :-)
On a more serious nite, I've never played any if these games, it looks quite slow, are they any good?
