With the release of Watch Dogs earlier this year, Ubisoft has established a new franchise, as detailed in our review. The game brings Grand Theft Auto to a technical new era, with plenty of tricks to go along with the action that we've come to expect from the team at Ubisoft Montreal.

Wii U owners will finally be able to get a turn with the game, as Ubisoft has announced that it will arrive for Nintendo's console on November 18th. The game will feature integration with the GamePad controller, enabling players to get a closer look at the city grid using the second screen, so that they can more carefully plan their next move.

The Wii U version had been planned alongside all the others, but Ubisoft delayed it in February. GameStop subsequently canceled pre-orders for it, which fueled speculation that it had been nixed altogether, but the retailer blamed a "glitch."
