The Destiny news just keeps pouring in today, as Activision and Bungie have announced that they have teamed up with Red Bull to launch a new collaboration with the forthcoming sci-fi shooter.

A member of the Bungie development team will perform a coordinated skydive alongside OpTic Gaming performance coach Mike "Flamesword" Chaves and the Red Bull Air Force team on the evening of Monday, September 8th, at a launch event in Belluevue.

"We love Red Bull's passion for adventure and exploration and are excited to kick off this partnership with the launch of Destiny," said Pete Parsons, COO at Bungie. "As partners, we can't wait to see what awesome moments we dream up together."

A three-part web series, "Destiny Drop Zone: OpTic Gaming Take To the Sky," will also show the journey that these members are taking with the jump, with the first chapter set to kick off on Red Bull's eSports Channel on YouTube.

Destiny kicks off September 9th on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
