Bandai Namco is pouring on the death today in Dark Souls 2, with a brutal new DLC chapter available for the game on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam.

In Crown of the Old Iron King, the second chapter in the Lost Crowns trilogy you'll run across an array of new environments, enemies, traps and bosses as you attempt to recover King Vendrick's lost crowns. You'll fight your way through a huge tower surrounded by black mist, having to contend with whatever enemies lurk inside. Good luck with that.

The content is available now for $9.99, or, if you subscribe to the Steam Season Pass (which costs $24.99), you can download it for free. That's a small price to pay for some sweet, sweet death.

Yes, you will die. Just accept it.

A re-release for XONE/PS4 with all DLC is pretty much inevitable, right? I may wait for that to play these.

I would say maybe at best Japan is slow off the old consoles the PS2 still had new games coming out till 2012 if i recall.

I can not see them rebuilding the game over for the PS4 unless there is massive demand for it in Japan.
