It's been hinted at for a few weeks now that Microsoft would finally release the white Xbox One console to the public, and today it made it official. Bye bye, employee exclusive.

Ted Price, president of Insomniac Games, announced the bundle today, which comes with a white Xbox One system with a 500 GB hard drive, a white Xbox One controller, and a digital copy of Sunset Overdrive for the price of $399.99. The console will launch on October 31st, the same day as the game.

Pre-orders are available now, so you may want to jump on that…

Ah! I actually prefer the black but Sunset Overdrive is probably my most anticipated game for the platform. D:

Ditto. Trying to decide if I get the white though, just for a change. Probably not, I like my stack of similar black boxes!

$399 with a bundled game is a decent deal. I hope they do something cool for the Master Chief thing, but not so something it winds up making the console cost more (like they did with that ridiculous Star Wars Kinect bundle).

I doubt they will make a console for halo collection with the annoucement of what 3 bundles now.. but they will for sure make another limited edition version of the xbone with halo 5.

I was hoping for a green master chief bundle too. Oh well.
