Microsoft is going to every extent to make its Halo: The Master Chief Collection compilation shine, and that includes setting up limited editions for the game. The company just announced a special Mjolnir edition of Halo in Europe, a package that goes for 169.99 pounds (about $286 US).
In the package, players will receive a special limited edition Steelbook case, along with a physical map book featuring a layout of every map within the game, a Grunt Funeral digital skull DLC pack, and, best of all, a Master Chief 12 inch Artfx Statue, which, we believe, is way cooler than the facsimile helmet you got with the Halo 3 Limited Edition.
The pre-orders weren't even live for a few hours this morning before UK retailer GAME confirmed that they were sold out. "That was quick. The Halo: Master Chief Collection MJOLNIR Edition has now sold out. Limited Edition still available," the company tweeted this morning. Other retailers, however, might have units available, so it never hurts to check around.
There's no word if this special edition will make its way to the U.S., but considering how avid the gaming community is around Halo, it'd be a real shocker if we didn't get it. Just, please, Microsoft, no more giant helmets that we don't get to wear…
Halo: The Master Chief Collection drops on November 18th for Xbox One.
Robert Workman posted a new article, Microsoft announces special Mjolnir Edition of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Europe.
And surprise, it's already sold out at GAME locations.
No thanks, the Halo 4 version of Chief's armour looks like crap.
I was hoping this would be a green xbone console package. I know it will happen just announce it already.
Should've been the female Mjolnir version.
