Evolve getting delayed to February 2015

Hunters and the Kraken get to live a while longer. Evolve is getting pushed to 2015

It looks like the Fall releases are getting ever thinner, as yet another big game is getting pushed to next year. 2K Games announced today through its earnings report that the monster hunting game is getting delayed to February 10, 2015.

Evolve is another in a growing line of high profile games to get delayed - a list that includes Battlefield: Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition

Actually, that was the alpha that just happened, so if there was ever a time to announce a delay for polish, this was the right time to do it.

It was alpha and it was great. Least buggy alpha I've ever played.

Actually now that I think probably better than any betas I've played in the last couple of years. Im talking about the tech side of things. Gameplay it's fun but didn't reach L4D level of fun for me.

There is a lot of polish they needed to do on the UI. I was playing with some shackers and the biggest issues were no push to talk, and readying up/setting perks wasn't apparent.

There were a lot of games waiting to start because most people didn't know they could choose a perk which then set them to ready.

The gameplay was a ton of fun when people were teaming up and making smart decisions. I am terrible at playing as the monster but some people were incredible at staying a step ahead of us the entire game until Stage 3

I thought the Alpha was pretty damn good. Looked good even on "Low" settings, but I think "Low" was still filling up all 2gigs of VRAM.

I think we will see more delays from early 2015 to mid 2015, to late 2015.
