Comic-Con weekend is upon us and there's plenty of news to catch up with. But if you have some extra time on you, then take a moment to behold some of Chatty's recent playthroughs on Twitch. Shacknews' Chatty community is made up of some of the most devoted gamers in the world, as evidenced by their lengthy playthroughs. So check out pixelat3d's ongoing runthrough of WildStar, OverloadUT's trial-and-error runs of Kerbal Space Program, and plateofshrimp's rendition of Muse, as played in Rocksmith 2014.

Here's a compilation of some of the best Shacknews Twitch highlights for the week of July 26, 2014.

WildStar

Carbine Studios has capably been keeping new content coming for their MMORPG, WildStar, recently tossing some cool PvE content. They're also getting ready to add a new PvP-focused update later in July. While you wait for that, check out pixelat3d's recent playthrough, in which he continues to explore WildStar's growing world.

Kerbal Space Program

We've seen some fun playthroughs of Kerbal Space Program in past editions of the Twitch roundup. But not every attempt to run through Squad's space exploration game has been smooth. OverloadUT is among the Shackers that have experienced a number of launch-related mishaps. Check out one of his more eye-opening errors below, as we pay tribute to the many Kerbals whose lives were lost on this mission. Oh, the Kerbality!

Rocksmith 2014 Edition

I've personally mentioned on the Chattycast that music rhythm games are due for a comeback. But it's easy to forget that Rocksmith never left and is continuing to bring joy to music fans, even going so far as to teach some real guitar in the process. Chatty's plateofshrimp is among those rocking out and he's doing so very well, as evidenced by his attempt at Muse's "Plug In Baby." Enjoy the musical interlude and come back next week for a fresh selection of Chatty's best Twitch highlights!

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I really hope now google takes these twitch preview windows and use them for rewriting youtube ones, you can have a lot of tabs opened with lots of twitch windows and the browser continues working like a champ, on the other hand if you have 3 tabs with some youtube links... you can nearly hear the browser say "kill me please, i can't bear this suffering".
