Live from Los Angeles, it's… The Last of Us? Yep, as an effort to promote the forthcoming PlayStation 4 port of the hit game The Last of Us, Sony has announced that it's working with Naughty Dog on a special live event that will take place in Los Angeles on July 28th. That's one day before the game's release on PS4.

One Night Live will feature a number of talents from the game, with the game's director, Neil Druckmann, guiding the actors and musical talent. Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson, Merle Dandridge, Hana Hayes, and Annie Wersching will read lines based on their characters, while Academy Award winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla will provide music accompaniment.

The event will take place at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, starting at 7 PM PDT. Those interested in tickets can visit the PlayStation Facebook page for more information. For those who can't make the trip, certain portions will be live streamed on Sony's Twitch channel, as well as YouTube and the PlayStation Network Live Event viewer.
