Walking Dead S2 Episode 4 'within arm's reach'

Clementine's harsh education continues

4

Telltale teased the next episode of The Walking Dead this morning, meaning a release is probably imminent.

The studio showed off new screenshots in a pair of tweets. The first read, "Season Two Ep 4 'Amid The Ruins' is within arm's reach! News next week!" The second continued the drumbeat. "Season Two Ep 4 'Amid The Ruins' is nearly here. Look for more soon!"

Generally Telltale begins teasing the next episode this way shortly before release. The last episode, In Harm's Way, received a similar tease on May 1 before release on May 13. If that trend continues, we should be playing episode four before the end of this month.

Telltale has been swapping release duties between The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us this year, and just recently wrapped up the Fables-inspired series. Check out our review for more thoughts on how it came together.

I need to start this series over I think. I played the first two episodes and it's not doing it for me. I don't think I like playing as Clementine and the writing seems nowhere near as good as Season 1 or Wolf. But I want to like it :(

I have only played the first 2 chapters and I do like it. Nothing earth shattering but truth be told if I were to have written a review on season 1 after the first 2 chapters I don’t know how glowing my review would have been. Yet once I finished all chapters it ended up being my personal GOTY.

My main complaint about season 2 is I am being reckless as Clementine because I feel invincible and there will be little consequence to my choices. I do hope the writers crush that sense of security in the next chapters.

good observation. i'm playing as Clem like she's a full-on badass instead of a little kid. no punishment for it yet aside from getting cuffed by Carver.

i'm not as harsh a critic, but i would agree to a lesser extent

love it, but it's never gonna hit the high notes of season 1. the relationship between Lee and Clem was just so well done. that said i'm in for the adventures of Clem to the end. freaky seeing Clem turn into a Jane/Carver stone cold killa though after following her as a kid in season 1.
