The Witcher Adventure begins its closed beta on PC

CD Projekt RED hasn't been short on projects for their acclaimed Witcher series and among the ones on their agenda is a new digital board game adaptation known as The Witcher Adventure. Those that have pre-ordered The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have some good news awaiting them, as the closed beta has kicked off today.

CD Projekt RED hasn't been short on projects for their acclaimed Witcher series and among the ones on their agenda is a new digital board game adaptation known as The Witcher Adventure. Those that have pre-ordered The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have some good news awaiting them, as the closed beta has kicked off today on PC and Mac.

The Witcher Adventure introduces the game's online multiplayer feature, with the developers trying to work out the last of its lingering issues. Players will select one of four characters based on the Witcher series of games and books, each with their own unique ability. Those characters are Geralt of Rivia, Triss Merigold, Yarpen Zigrin, and Dandelion. The idea is to complete quests, fight monsters, and approach various obstacles with brute force, diplomacy, or a myriad of other ways, as has been the hallmark of the Witcher series of games.

Those that have pre-ordered The Witcher 3 on GOG should have their pre-orders keys now. Those still looking to get into the beta can sign up on the GOG Galaxy website.
