Killing Floor 2 video reveals five new zed monstrosities

A new video for Killing Floor 2 has revealed five new zeds that promise to haunt your nightmares.

Tripwire Interactive is hard at work crafting some new horrors for their frightening follow-up, Killing Floor 2. The studio released a new video today, showing off some of the new zeds that will haunt your nightmares, all using in-game footage.

The deranged specimens include the blood-curdling Clot, the shrieking Slasher, the insect-like Crawler, the howling Cyst, and the brutish Fleshpound. All of these twisted monstrosities promise to kill in different (yet equally painful) ways and can be seen in action in the video below.

There's still no release window set for Killing Floor 2, but the game is targeting PC and SteamOS. Thanks to poster Masem for the tip.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

L4D games were a lot of fun but then it starts to wane. Killing Floor starts out rough but gets more and more fun the longer keep you playing it.
