Ubisoft and RedLynx's latest Trials Fusion trailer prepares you for the multiplayer mayhem that's about to begin when the game releases on Xbox One and PS4 next week.

Ubisoft and RedLynx released the first of their Trials doubleheader earlier this week with Trials Frontier hitting iOS. Next up is the PC/console big brother, Trials Fusion, with a new trailer showing its key component in action: ruthless competition.

Yes, the latest trailer shows off Fusion's four-player multiplayer, with friends trying their damndest to reach the finish line first. And all along the way, many of those same friends end up crashing and burning in bone-crushing fashion.

The wait is almost over if you're on Xbox One, PS4, or Xbox 360, as Trials Fusion will start its engines next week. PC players will have to wait until April 24, but those players are likely already knee-deep in the closed beta.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
