Following the recent appointment of Phil Spencer as the new "head of Xbox," Microsoft Studios has apparently undergone a restructuring affecting an unspecific number of jobs. It's unclear why these employees have been let go, but Microsoft released a statement, saying that they are still growing "as an overall organization."

"At Xbox, our goal is to constantly create new fun, social and interactive entertainment experiences," a representative told VG247. "As part of our commitment to this goal, we are always evaluating our development priorities, and there are times when decisions need to be made to realign plans and refocus our efforts."

"Microsoft Studios continues to grow as an overall organization as we focus and invest in key priority areas that will drive future profitable growth," Microsoft added.

Normally just the Staff is laid off, but if they laid off the Stuff as well, things must really be desperate!

At a previous job they laid off the Splenda to 'save 1 person's job'. Except 2 weeks later they laid off even more staff and stuff.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
